Reflective Essay

Being in Graphic Arts has really opened my eyes to a lot of new things. I have learned how to photo shop things realistically and use things like Macromedia, Microsoft Publisher and Toondoo.com. Graphic Arts has also taught me what it would be like to have a career in the world of Graphic Design. Being in this class wasn’t just fun, but it taught us tools about computers we are going to use all through out the rest of our lives. I honestly think that everyone should take a class like Graphic Arts.

Before I came into this class I didn’t really know what to expect, but now I am so thankful I got the opportunity to learn all these important tools in computer using.

Menu

To make this menu I used microsoft publisher and used the menu layout, then I just inserted french words and pictures off the internet and put down the prices. This menu took awhile but it was really fun and taught us how to be creative.

Adobe Photoshop: Business card

Adobe photoshop was probably my favorite graphic design tool to use, it was a lot of fun and taught us how to photoshop realistically, this is not a very good example of photoshop but I like the way it looks.

Bugs

I chose my bugs assignment because it was the most challlenging assignment on macromedia that I did.

Cd Cover

I chose my Cd cover as a portfolio because this took a lot of time and effort and really reflected my skill.

Macromedia Project: T-shirt design

I chose my t-shirt design becasue it was so different than anything I had made.
